Visual PEST is a version of PEST produced by Schlumberger Water Services.

Visual PEST contains all of the functionality of PEST-ASP (PEST v5). However in addition to that, it is able to produce a suite of evolving, informative, run-time graphical displays of all variables of interest in the inversion process including:

• objective function,

• parameter values,

• parameter sensitivities,

• calculated vs. observed plots,

• and much more.

Viewing of these plots as the inversion process progresses really brings this process to life.

After PEST has finished running, a comprehensive graphical analysis of calibration residuals and parameter uncertainties can be carried out. All graphs allow virtually unlimited adjustment of plotting characteristics to suit the user's purposes, and can be saved in plot-ready format for inclusion in reports.
