The Darcy Lecture Series was established in 1986 by the National Groundwater Association (NGWA) and promotes outstanding achievements in the field of groundwater hydrogeology. Each year a panel of scientists and engineers select a groundwater professional to share their work with peers and students around the world. The 2018 Darcy Lecturer is Dr. Masaki Hayashi from the University of Calgary.
